Happy Birthday Jade

Happy 13th birthday to our girl, Jade! She’s an amazing doggo! She’s doing so well with RV life. She loves to get out and sniff, play Frisbee, and eat all the cheese she can get into her mouth.

It was a beautiful Thanksgiving morning in Knoxville. The Turkey Trot was amazing. It felt so good to be out there with other runners. My official time was 35:58. My goal was under 40, so yay!!

So grateful to be running and road racing again. I’m slow. But speed isn’t the point for me. Running, especially outside, is a meditation, a form of grace, a celebration of health and determination. And yes, sometimes worship and prayer.
